1988 Vintage BOZO The World's Most Famous Clown Telephone

Sold AS IS
We’re not clowning around here; this is a real telephone. Bozo The World's Most Famous Clown character was created by Alan W. Livingston originally under the Capitol Record label as a children's storytelling record album and illustrated read-along book set in 1946. Bozo went on to become a beloved American TV character and had his own show for many years. This novelty telephone, circa 1980’s, features an exact replica of Bozo’s iconic look. Bozo’s nose lights up when it is ringing. Bozo’s hand is hiding behind his back and is holding a King of Hearts card that features all the buttons to press to dial a number. It has tone and pulse capability.  Cannot confirm the phone is in working order.

This is a rare piece that will offer a touch of nostalgia for collectors of clown memorabilia. It is also a must have for communication nerds, gadget lovers and TV enthusiasts.

Measures: 11 1/2" tall & the base is 6 1/4" wide. Has original cords. It shows wear and tear. Made in Thailand.
